Having driven up and the A30 many times and seeing the sign to Dingles Steam Village I finaly went there. This was encouraged byt leaflets I had seen about it and fomr looking at their website. This week end was a fairground organ special day.

I like old macines and there were lota of old steam machines there. There was also a fine collection of very old lorries. A Scammel chain driven one:
The Tamar Organ Group is now based there. They have secired some heritage lottery funding for a new concert hall there. I chatted to the guy who was there restoring their Compton organ:
